What’s the minimum age for this game?
FlikBall is designed for kids ages 8 and up. The game’s simple flicking mechanic makes it easy to start playing, but mastering shots and goalie defense requires skill and practice, making it enjoyable for a wide range of players.
How difficult is this game to assemble?
The game has 124 pieces that are put together like a typical LEGO set. Any kid that likes to build stuff and follow instructions will enjoy putting it together. On average it takes about 30 to 45 mins to assemble.
Can more than two people play?
Yes! While the standard game is designed for two players, multiple players can take turns or form teams to compete in a mini-tournament format. This makes it a great game for family game nights, parties, or friendly competitions.
What does the scoreboard app do?
The free FlikBall scoreboard app enhances the game experience by tracking the score, displaying celebratory confetti animations for each goal, and playing fun sound effects. Does it come with instructions?
Absolutely! The box includes a detailed building instructions booklet and even an online version that can be viewed using any smartphone or tablet.
How do you play FlikBall?
The game is played with two players taking turns. One player flicks a foam ball, aiming to score a goal by getting the ball over a small wall and into the net. The opposing player controls a mechanical goalie attached to the goal and moves it to try to block the shot. The game continues with players alternating roles, and the one with the highest score at the end wins. Of course, you can also make your own rules!
How does the mechanical goalie work?
The goalie is manually controlled by the defending player, allowing them to move it side to side in an attempt to block shots. It adds an interactive element to the game, making it more engaging and requiring quick reactions to successfully defend the goal.
Are there expansion packs?
Currently, there are no expansion packs, but future sets with new goalie designs, themed flick barriers, and different ball types could be released to keep the game fresh and exciting.
